Period Portable HolesHand forged, approx 53cm long with an approx 4cm inner diameter. Suitable for banners, lances with pennons, heraldic displays and light barriers. Great alternative to the star picket welded to a piece of metal tube seen so often in re-enactment today.

Costrels or Leather "Bottels"Our costrels or "leather bottels" are made of vegetable tan leather, hand stitched with waxed thread and pitched with beeswax. They come in black, dark brown, whiskey, red, blue, green, yellow or natural. The picture representing the colours below is a guide only - because of differing pieces of leather colours do vary on each costrel. All are fitted with stoppers and straps. Sizes are approx 800ml-1300ml. The 600ml-800ml sizes are $80 and the 900-1000ml sizes are $90. Costrels up to 1.3 lt are $110. All volume capacities are approximate only.
